What Nonesuch Culture does
Nonesuch Culture is the events and experiences arm of Nonesuch. Programming includes shows and concerts, exhibitions, parties, product launches, week-long residencies, and festival curation. The division maintains the company's physical footprint — the rooms, the nights, the installations — as a platform rather than a series of one-offs.
Approach
Culture doesn't happen on the internet. It happens in rooms, in cities, in specific nights. The internet is the echo — Nonesuch Culture builds what the echo is made from. Every room is programmed as a moment you had to be in. The residue — the shoot, the film, the archive — gets sold afterwards. The people in the room know they got something the feed can never replicate.
Culture programming is built in concert with the rest of the company. A Nonesuch Recordings release is staged inside a Nonesuch Culture night. A Nonesuch Fashion drop is anchored in a Nonesuch Culture exhibition. The divisions reinforce one another on purpose.
